EXECUTIVE
Mr. Robbins has overseen the management of over 350 nonprofit clients. He is credited with the development of a number of techniques that have today become standards within the direct mail fundraising industry. Recently he was the recipient of an award for excellence in direct marketing from the New England Direct Marketing Association. Mr. Robbins received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts in 1958. From 1958 until 1965 he was a member of the international public accounting firm of Price Waterhouse and Co. and in 1963 became a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. In 1964 he was appointed Manager in charge of Price Waterhouse and Co.'s Boston office Small Business/ Practice Development Departments. In 1965 Mr. Robbins joined The Lavin Company, Boston, a professional capital fundraising firm, as Vice President. In 1968 he became Executive Vice President of another Boston-based professional fundraising firm which specialized in direct mail development techniques. In 1970 he formed L.W. Robbins Associates.
